Our colleagues at BLS Chile have successfully loaded a power transformer from India to a solar farm in the Atacama Desert. The transformer (830 x 360 x 430 m / weight: 98 tons) was loaded in India by floating crane as a break bulk on a container vessel and shipped to Puerto Angamos. From there he continued his journey by truck to the final destination. The scope of the project included also another 7 containers.
